30 DAY NOTICE
A thirty day notice is required when terminating classes. This allows time to fill your time slot.
PARKING
Due to the striping of the street by the City of Carrollton… you may not stop or park in front of my house or the neighbors’ houses. All drop-offs, pick-ups, and parking must be done in my driveway behind the house. Please leave enough space for two vehicles in the driveway.
PLEASE DO NOT STOP IN THE ALLEY.
I DON’T WANT TO UPSET MY NEIGHBORS.
NO MAKE-UP LESSONS, NO RESCHEDULING,
NO REFUNDS, NO CREDIT FOR MISSED LESSONS...NO EXCEPTIONS!
This means no changing of time slot or day on a temporary basis. (See the CALL LIST at the end of these policies for help with this.)
TUITION PAYMENT
Effective August 25, 2024 the September tuition will reflect the new fees as follows:
3 - 30 minute classes per month / $78.00 per month
3 - 45 minute classes per month / $117.00 per month
3 - 60 minute classes per month / $156.00 per month
3 - 75 minute classes per month / $195.00 per month
All tuition is due in advance for the next month by the 25th of each month.
Example: August tuition is due on July 25th.
Six ways to pay:
1. Pay at your class by check or cash. (Checks made payable to Letitia Rogers)
2. Drop your payment in the white box with music notes ( can be found on the patio wall beside the
Utility boxes).
It is illegal to place anything in a mailbox that does not have postage, so please…
do not place your payment in my mailbox.
3. Schedule a recurring payment through your bank

REFERRALS
4 Free lessons (one per month for four months). If the referral terminates during the four months, the discount becomes void.
FUNDRAISERS
It would be impossible for me to donate to every worthy cause or to purchase from everyone. Therefore, because it would be unfair to help one and not the other, it is my policy to not contribute to any of them. Thank you for understanding.
ALL PERFORMANCES ARE VOLUNTARY
ANNUAL PAGEANT
One recital per year in the fall. There is a $65.00 non-refundable fee for each participant.This fee helps to cover the cost of renting a venue, paying my assistants, etc.
(A maximum of $130.00 per household.) All Annual Pageant Participants receive a trophy.
Optional Costume Contest There must be at least 12 costumed performers to have a costume contest. The costume should be coordinated with the piece being performed and is judged on creativity and details. Prize money of $30.00, $20.00, & $10.00 is awarded for 1st Place, 2nd Place, & 3rd Place costumes. From the 1st Place winners a Grand Prize winner will be selected and awarded an additional $50.00.
NON-COSTUMED PERFORMERS ARE REQUIRED TO DRESS FORMALLY. MALES MUST WEAR A SUIT AND A TIE. FEMALES MUST WEAR A LONG FRILLY DRESS. ANYONE WHO IS NOT PROPERLY DRESSED WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PERFORM.
PIANO SOLO FESTIVAL
The Piano Bencher's Open and Costume Contest
This festival is held in April. There is a required list of music from which to choose. Each participant must
memorize one piece in detail and he/she will receive a rating from a qualified judge. The judge will also select
the best male and best female performance of the day to be declared King and Queen for that year. The King
and Queen will receive an additional award as well as having their names permanently placed on a plaque on
the wall in my studio. All participants are awarded a trophy that is presented at the following Annual Pageant.
Each participant also receives 100 bonus points on his/her individual score sheet.
Optional Costume Contest: Prize money of $30, $20, & $10. Those who participate in the costume contest will have his/her photo taken and it will be posted. Everyone who comes to my studio during the following week may cast one vote for a costume. The Piano Bencher’s Open Entry fee is $20.00 and is non-refundable.
TROPHIES
Annual Score Sheets are kept on each student’s progress.
PIANO BENCHER’S OPEN PARTICIPANTS and ANNUAL PAGEANT PARTICIPANTS will receive a trophy for each event at the conclusion of the Annual Pageant.
NON-PARTICIPANTS will receive an annual certificate and in some cases, a ribbon as well. They will be awarded sometime after the Annual Pageant has taken place.
All children who complete the entire series of 10 lesson books will be awarded a 30” trophy.
For beginners age 12 and over: Students who complete all 3 adult lesson books are eligible for the 30” trophy. (Adult books progress more quickly and are equivalent to the ten lesson books for children)
